Tucson and Phoenix had cloud cover that did not allow either location to get to it&#8217;s convective temperature, nor were there any outflows in either of the metro areas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"652\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1130 \/ 652;\" width=\"1130\" autoplay controls loop muted src=\"https:\/\/discussions.weather.arizona.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Recording-2025-08-11-092600.mp4\"><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">GOES19 infrared satellite images from August 10th 10am to 3am this morning, College of DuPage<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>24-hour precipitation accumulation data from Rainlog.org for Southeast Arizona shows the rainfall was mainly in Naco, Chiricahua Mountains, and between Oro Valley and Marana. Storms do produce microbursts and blowing dust over southeast Arizona and southern New Mexico, shown by the 10 meter wind speed forecast. The positive is a little more activity on Wednesday and model forecasts hint at weakened storms moving into Phoenix metro Wednesday evening.
